NGC Grading updates

Hi guys

 

I've recently sent a batch of coins for grading at NGC, as I understand it takes approx. 8 working days for the coins to be graded and slabbed (world gold option); my question is how long does it take for NGC to update my status and show me what the coins have graded as? At the moment it says something about quality control and I assume it has been graded already.

 

The coins arrived at the NGC 3 weeks ago...

Hi,

 

Normally the coins will stay in Quality Control for 1 to 2 days. After NGC ship the coins they will show your grades. However, if you send more than one invoice and selected the option to ship all the invoices together, the coins will stay in "quality control" untill the coins in the slowest grading tier has been graded.

 

The last few months NGC turnaround has been quite slow.

Thanks for the info. I have sent more than 1 invoice and it seems like i'm going to be waiting a while now because I chose the value option for the rest...

 

Oh well, hopefully the world won't end tomorrow and I'll get my coins soon.

Was wondering if you guys could steer me in the right direction.

 

I have a 1892 gold pond that I'd like graded / valued so that I can sell it. What is the procedure?
