Hi all

I might seem uneducated here but what the heck is BF-20?

Bronze Coins - 1895 ZAR SILVER SIXPENCE .SACG GRADED BF-20. RARE IN ANY GRADE.@@ LOOK @@ for sale in Cape Town (ID:34611372)

Better than fine?

Never heard of a BF grade - does this mean we will have BG, BVG, BVF, BXF, BAU and BUNC. (As in 1895 sixpence BMS62)

Not being critical of anyone but why?

From someone who is not a numismatist and doesn't understand most of the ratings, my suggestion is that "BF" could mean "bent forwards" (or anything else that won't be regarded as swearing on the forum). :cheesy:  :whistling:

Sorry Eend but no excuse there.

Grading with a typo?

Quality control?

F (fine) is next to G (good) - one single coin - Grading certain coins G instead of F - who carries the loss?
