Hi Anerstemens

Please don't buy an LG DVD recorder for this.

I found out the hard way that DSTV broadcasts a do not copy signal which the LG recorders pick up.

This prevents you from recording from DSTV onto an LG DVD Recorder.

I bought one to o this in December and now I have a very expensive DVD player, can't use it for anything else.

The Daewoo works fine, or at least did when I still had money for DSTV

I have one, and I don't have that. Possibly the model you have?

You talk about that. I downgraded my dstv from the premium to the R150 a month bouquet. It's actually pretty good, and really not worth having the premium. The only thing you miss out on is the rugby.

I am sure even at least one of Zuma's wives records Desperate Housewives when there is some sort of meeting to attend. As far as I know, as long as it is for personal viewing and not for selling the programs, it is fine.

I`m afraid the person I was going to ask to record wont know how to and i have learned out of experience that the time recording on a card is really bad.
