Sir Bob 10 Posted February 15, 2011 I have made a number of DVD sales to a particular customer who has posted "positive feedback" as "RECEIVED, NOT YET PLAYED". Ok it's positive but it does not tell potential customers anything - apart from the postage worked! It does not say that the DVD's were free of blemishes as advertised. How do we get people to leave helpful feedback? Surely they realise that feedback is an important part of the decision to buy, or decision not to buy, process. kyle2 10 Posted February 15, 2011 I would not wory about it, you got a positive, you will find that potential buyers will only really investigate the negatives and see the comments related to those. Not every buyer will give big fluffy comments in their feedback, some do and those are always fun. It really could have been worse.
kebs 15 Posted February 15, 2011 I've done that once or twice myself - I only do it when I know I'm not going to get around to using the item any time soon, but want the seller to know I have it received it & am so far happy with my purchase.. As kyle2 says, most people skip straight to the neutral & negative ratings to size up a seller..
