RISadler 10 Posted January 11, 2011 Anybody have some experience with/opinion of Canon tele-converters - both the new III and the old II, as well as third-party versions?
Howard Neill 10 Posted January 12, 2011 No one answered your question. I can only tell you my experiences with a Canon WD-58 wide angle converter. I bought one in 2005. It gave us brilliant service until we sold it, along with the business, last year. Cheers .
RISadler 10 Posted January 12, 2011 I used the 250D close-up "filter" for many years (on my PowerShot A620 and various EF lenses), until a few months back when I received (and fixed) a broken EF Compact-Macro 50mm lens. The filter is good, but the macro lens is super-brilliant! But I'm specifically interested in the EF 1.4X converters and whether they're worth the price. I have the EF 70-200mm f/4 L lens, so only the 1.4X can be used and 280mm isn't a huge increase in focal length.
