Unable to Rate a "dodgy" Seller

Hi All,

I bid for a phone from this one seller from the US. I won the bid for the phone for about 1900 ZAR. he then sent me a google check out invoice for almost R5000. I sent him an email asking what he was charging me for thatmade the price almost double? he did not respond to me directly but filed an SNC against my name. I appealed it and wrote my story on the appeal. he rejected the appeal.

sometime later, he emails me to ask if I'm still interested in the phone. I write yes, I am but only if you could tell me why the price doubled and on the advert he wrote that his shipping costs are only R900 including custom duties and stuff.

to cut the long story short. I want to write a rating on this guy's profile, but because he has issued this SNC and rejected my appeal - I cant rate him.

I read a similar incident on his profile of someone who won a bid, but he refused to sell the item to him/her.

anybody has any advice for me?

Hi SistaLove and welcome to the forum.

Appeals as far as I know are rejected by BOB and not the seller. I would suggest mailing BOB at hello@bidorbuy.co.za and getting their advice.

thank you Brands Online. I will email them. I think it is unfair that my profile has to be tarnished with a SNC while I did nothing wrong.

he is the one who is quite and not communicating to me about why he is charging me so much money.

Hi SistaLove:love:

Please can you give us an update on this issue as I faced similar situations before but left unresolved.

Thanks
