Before putting this on the suggestion thread I wanted some opinions

I was thinking we should have an input field with our listings similar to the "payment options" as a footer to all our posts. This could be used to put our terms and conditions in and say our link to our other goods. it would have to appear at the bottom of each listing. But we could then update all our listings at the same time should the need arise.

 

It would allow us for instance to change our terms without missing a listing making them all more universal. Should a seller be sick and unavailable all that need be done is update this one field.

 

Any thoughts.

i noticed that sellers who have hundreds of listings sometimes miss a few when updating certain info, this would just be an easier way of doing it. All stuff which is globally on all our listings would be put in this field instead of on the main field.

This I think is a good idea

This would only be sensible as a "template" for newly created listings and listings without bids. Good idea and something we can look at (kind of like a "standard footer" for listings). Once a listing however received the bid, that specific footer can not be edited anymore for those listings. We would have to also embed this footer as part of the trade-description to make it "binding".

The same as we have the various postage options for various types of goods.

This is a brilliant idea and would definitely save time in listing items, and like mellowred mentioned, if there is an emergency etc if can be added in easily.

I would really love this option to be able to accept graphics, the new shipping options do not accept graphics.
