Hi there

I'm trying something new to Bidorbuy. Well I haven't seen it on Bidorbuy yet. I first like to find out if there is any buyers that would like me to put up as a buy item " portable opensource software that is installed on a 1 gig flash memmory stick. All the software runs from the flashdrive and no software is needed to be loaded onto your desktop or laptop computer. It's a nice collection of needed software listed below. So I think it would be a nice portable tool with all your software and application on a flash drive. You just stick it into any laptop or desktop and run the software from the flash drive.

Software that will be included on the stick:

Clamwin " Virus protection software with auto update.

Cool Player "Lightweight, fast, easy-to-use audio player

Keep Pass Portable "Secure, easy-to-use password manager

Mines Perfect "a classic hunt-for-mines game with advanced

features

Modzilla Firefox "the award-winning web browser that's safe and secure

Modzilla Thunderbird "the handy email client

Mozilla Sunbird, " Calendar and task management with a familiar interface

Open Office Base " database wizard

Open Office Calc " Spreadsheet

Open Office Draw " Creating charts and other documents

Open Office Impress " Presentation Wizzard

Open Office Math " tool for creating and editing mathematical formula's

Open Office Writer " Intelligent word lookalike word processor

Pidgin " chat with AOL, MSN and Yahoo users in an easy-to-use interface

Sudoko " the wildly popular and addictive puzzle game

Sumatra PDF " a lightweight PDF viewer

If interest is shown, I will add the following portable software applications aswell.

WinMerge Portable - file comparison and merging

WinDirStat Portable - disk usage analyzer and cleanup tool

Toucan - backup, sync and encrypt for advanced users

PeaZip Portable - Easy to use file archiver and compressor

InfraRecorder Portable - full-featured CD and DVD burner

Audacity Portable - A simple audio editor and recorder

BonkEnc Portable - extract, convert, and encode audio

MPlayer Portable - Full-featured movie player with support for most video formats

VirtualDub Portable - video processing and capture utility

VLC Media Player Portable - An easy to use media player that plays most audio and video formats

Hi ddv tech

Man, thank you for letting me know, I feel like a complete idiot  . The members most probably thinking, a 1 meg flash drive, where does he get those goodies from, but yes, I'm correcting it as I type this post. It is indeed a 1 Gig flash drive and not a 1 Meg.

Thanks ddv tech
