wayjen 10 Posted November 17, 2010 So we get an "illegal item" email from community watch for a pocket watch I have on auction that works with batteries and plays music. All this i stated in the description and also mentioned that this is obviously not an original pocket watch but a replica of one because of the batteries and the music. What is strange to me is what makes this pocket watch an illegal item when it does not pretend to be a brand name item at all. many watches like this were sold with books from CNA many years ago and I sold some of those no problem. Thanks to Bertus, whom i just spoke to, as he said there is nothing wrong with the item in question. What next I ask you?

wayjen 10 Posted November 17, 2010 hey, hey mind your tongue (Happy Eid). On a serious note, I have always wanted to own a genuine old pocket watch ever since I was a young buck and this one I bought in the 1980's I think and and was so chuffed to own one even though it was more of a conversation piece then anything else. My mother also gave me 2 of those ones from CNA but I lost the one.
