StudMuffinsMissus 10 Posted October 17, 2010 I've looked at the "buy now" & "auction" success fees & it just states between 1 - 5% of the value of the sale. I'm pretty green still with selling on BoB so any help would be appreciated: I have a 20.5" (almost new) Apple iMac - which is better for selling a higher ticket item? Please help... RAJRULES1 10 Posted October 19, 2010 Hi If you have an "ideal" price in mind that you want for the item, I suggest a Buy Now. However, if you have a lowest price that you are willing to accept, but wish it were higher, then try the auction with the lowest price as the starting bid, or a reserve price. I am sure that you are aware that success fees are only charged if the item is sold, so your price should take this into account. I recently had 2 ipads on BOB, one on auction at a lower price than the Buy Now, but someone chose the higher Buy Now price??
RAJRULES1 10 Posted October 19, 2010 BTW, both the auction and Buy Now success fees are the same. I Believe?
