Adult Movies and explicit pictures?

Recommended Posts

Miss Jewels

Hi DestinysAngels. Have the same problem here. Luckily the eldest two (22 & 21) don't have fetish/interest/whatever in these sites, but the 16 year old? They'll always be interested in anything! I also believe I've raised my kids with values, but the temptation is always there. I do not agree with any form of porn being sold on sites like this. I believe it should be restricted to adult sites only. My solution was to only have internet in the main office with my pc linked to another loose pcalso in my office. The kids use the additional pc (as the eldest kids are also on BoB) as they need and the youngest does his school tasks and any other browsing on my additional pc. The elder kids each have limited, wireless access to e-mail to facebook when they're away from home. So far so good...touch wood!

remove the door

I totally agree with you. In our house doors do not get locked, if my son locks his door one day I will take out the lock and handle. If he finds a way to keep it closed I will take of the door. My house my rules. Privacy is one thing, but up to no good is my responsibility.

Children are left to fend for them selves to often in a world they no nothing about, its up to us to teach them right from wrong. Keeping secrets is wrong no matter how you swing it.

There are lots out there we dont want our kids to see or know about, but I would rather no about it and explain it to him my self than the tv or internet. Nothing is fool proof, we still need to take responsibility for our kids actions, they do after all learn from us.

Just my 2 sents:whistling:

BRAVO!!! :awesome:

The ONLY doors ~inside~ our house with a lock, not key on, are the bathroom/toilet doors.

Going on the internet alone for our son is a BIG NO! Why? Not because we cannot trust him; it's because we cannot trust the internet! Ignorant, an, I-don't-care attitude or a morally "dyslexic" etc. person normally cannot grasp it...

People must remember one FACT: You open the biggest door to soul-killing Filth in all of history, as soon as you connect to the Internet.

If a person do not know what I'm talking about; GOOD for him/her...

But again: Bravo to you and those parents who protect their children!!!

Thanks Edmund, we get frowned upon for most of our ways, but at the end of the day his my kid and I determine his future, and I know what is out there.

"Soul-killing" YES thank you, just what I have been saying for many years now. Never really been able to word it right. Thanks

xxx movies are definitely listed on crazy wednesday auctions. Last week I had allowed my young son to browse the crazy auctions and because he was browsing for a variety of stuff we were looking through the "all items" . I was horrified when we came across movies with the most explicit photos !

I did report the listing however I noticed it was not removed.

Apologies for this, may I recommend disabling your X-rated option, as this is the only way you can see the items. We will be monitoring this and removing listings.

Thanks qball, if I may ask cant these listing be done just a little more tasteful? Some are really xxxxxxxxxx rated pics and I am sure thats not necessary. If some one wants it they will find it. My x-rated option is off, I am just asking

You will not be able view these items if you have the x-Rated option disabled. If it's listed in the correct category (x-rated) then it can be listed in this manner, but viewing it is determined by you opting in to view x-rated items. You did enable it on the 9th and then disabled it the same time.

Kind regards

Cuan

Yes I did. I am in my lounge with the laptop and have my child around me. Dont need to see it any way, but what I mean is if they have to list it cant it at least be done tastefully. Bid or Buy is not a porn site after all.

Sorry for jumping in here, but if the option to not be able to view x-rated items is selected, will that only keep you from viewing/accessing the x-rated section. Or will that stop you from seeing x-rated things in other sections too. Just curious, as I think people using other categories other than the correct one for it should be dealt with in a serious way. Obviously not a mistake if listed wrong (in most cases). So why are they putting it in crazy auctions then....more sales or what? Maybe give them a crazy x-rated auction or something similar lol

It disables you from seeing the category x-rated, If someone is listing x-rated items in other categories that could get them in serious trouble I would believe

I notice that some of these sellers have listed on paid promotion auction before because I have previously reported the same seller and at least one of them has previously had items deleted . Sellers like these that repeatedly flout the rules should get a warning.

Well Wild Olive, they must keep listing and we will keep on reporting them and have them deleted. Some people are a little slow but they will catch on

I'm glad, did not even notice that at some point mine was enabled again. Looking at snap Friday this morning and hello there they are. Love my laptop, could just flip it closed when my son came in. Not sure how it got enabled but turned it off again.
