That item is from an early newspaper wrapper-Probably cut out and was not issued as a stamp on its own but only on the newspaper wrapper.

This is a 1875 newspaper wrapper ( PB1 - Unitrade Specialised Catalogue of Canada ). The catalogue value for the wrapper is Canadian $4. As this one has been cut out would probably be worth about R5 at most.
