wayjen 10 Posted September 7, 2010 I got this box over the weekend and it is full of what looks like old "paper picture frames" but for the life of me I cannot figure out what it means as my german does not exist and google is no good. I gather it was a picture frame type thingy from the picture on front. I am looking for a name or some information and then hopefully the age of this item. thanks. donovink 10 Posted September 7, 2010 Try google translate Google Translate. Just type in, it will detect and translate automatically for you. The image is a bit blurry but it looks like instructions on use of the frames

Means: Important: The stronger you push the two cardboard-frames together, the stronger the adhesive strength. Hergestellt in Deutschland! Don't expose to heat! Store in sealed box! Adhesive strength weakens due to dust. Jawohl! Is this another alien shipment? Or has that got anything to do with the latest superhero molestations on "that other forum". More Jack of all trades and master of none - lol. Quite interesting find - was the box still full of those picture frames and do they still work (i.e. adhesive)? Guest MacMuffin Posted September 7, 2010 ha ha you german spy you. oh have you seen my latest one. go check it out. I did - quite surprised how much takeup you get from your fantastical offer. I think you could ask for more if you market it also as a self-defense weapon (i.e. no license required) - could at least fetch R5 then...

Guest MacMuffin Posted September 8, 2010 Eich bin klein mein hund is klein! free beer all round if you manage to say the following without hesitation: Ich liebe Oachkatzlschwoaf und Donaudampfschiffahrtsgesellschaft DISCLAIMER: Does not apply to native German speakers (or anyone with "umlaute" in their names) (The 1st is a squirrel's tail and the 2nd stands for Danube Steamboat Shipping Company - perhaps the longest single German word - not sure).
