Why do you think the avatar was changed to a (can you guess which breed) dog?

And we have a winner! Go pick a Smurf as a prize... preferably one without a bid! Or a Lang Henning book of your choice.

An Australian Hunting Dog? If I'm wrong, please tell us what breed your dog really is! ;)

Getting this thread back on track....

I see Zeiss just announced the Distagon T* 1,4/35 lens for Canon.

Why? There's already the Canon EF 35mm f 1.4 L USM lens.

Now if it was a "flapjack"-type f/3.5 lens...

The "competition" has already been won! (http://forum.bidorbuy.co.za/photography/10808-new-canon-lenses-3.html#post82132) mellowred must just claim her prize...

Hee Hee. I just have. Looks like I'm about to spend several enjoyable evenings reading :D.

According to my source these dogs are "the only breed worth having". But then, he is an Aussie and he owns one which he saved from a breeding farm many years ago - he may be biased :P.

Is this your dogs RI? How many are there in South Africa?

She's mine, all mine!!!! Got her free when I bought a pony...

I really do not know how many are in SA, but from what I've seen the quality varies considerable.

That said, after the working type GSD, they are truly "the only breed worth having". Very intelligent, very active and partially obedient. What really makes them stand out are that they are one-person dogs. They like the family, but they bond with one person for life.
