Jacques Kuun 10 Posted August 22, 2010 If this is in the wrong category, will admin please move it? Thanks! Hello all Can someone please give me some info? When I go to the BoB homepage, the very left hand side of the page is not being displayed. In other words, I cannot see or select any categories. This has been the case since about 09:30 this morning. Is anybody else experiencing the same? Regards Jacques
donovink 10 Posted August 22, 2010 Hi Jacques, Looks like it might be a problem on your side. It all displays fine on my side
voldermort 11 Posted August 22, 2010 My side is fine. Have you tried logging off and back on again?
Jacques Kuun 10 Posted August 22, 2010 Thanks to you both. I have tried everything! All the headings on the left like categories, what is new, recently sold, etc are missing. The rest of BoB is fine. I will keep on trying - the other night my AVG attacked my Vodocom 3G, so everything is possible. Regards Jacques
Eccentric Beads 10 Posted August 22, 2010 Hi there, I had the same thing a couple of weeks ago--- where the page just went more to the right the further down you went, with the result that I could only see the first few listings on a page! I am afraid it went on for over weeks, and then suddenly resolved itself!
Guest MacMuffin Posted August 22, 2010 The only thing I can suggest is to delete your browser history. Can you post a screenshot as well as what browser you are using?
Jacques Kuun 10 Posted August 22, 2010 Hello MacMuffin I have cleared everything regarding History or Temp Files. I am using Internet Explorer 6 together with XP Service Pack 2. My Microsoft is legal. I am including an attachment. Can also send one with the page scrolled down more. Thanks a lot and regards Jacques
mellowred 10 Posted August 23, 2010 Hi Jacques. I don't know that it is what is causing your problem, but IE6 is pretty out of date. Perhaps downloading IE8 or Firefox would help. Take care Mandy
Guest MacMuffin Posted August 23, 2010 Agree with that - I would suggest to go to IE7 or IE8. IE6 has so many bugs and makes it very difficult for websites to render. We will have a look at see that it does render in IE6.
