Please can someone help

I tried to list a item and keep on getting the following error code

 

• Field Trade_Description should be 8,000 characters or less

 

I have listed many items before and never have I seen this

Hi Yolande

 

That message appears when you have a large HTML code. Check for things like bold/colours/blank lines etc. Each one requires HTML code to tell the computer what to do.

 

Switch your listing to "source", copy and paste the code to a word doc and check how many characters your code consists of.

 

Rather create a "picture" of your listing and upload that.

I found my problem eminates from copying from Office 2007 ; dont make up your item in Office 2007 at all - do it on line as this solved all my problems.
