Mpuma Stamps 10 Posted June 23, 2010 As a buyer the "Items you've lost" is a feature that I'm really missing. It can be very difficult to find items you've been outbid on after the auction closed.
lilythepink 11 Posted June 23, 2010 This is where the watch list comes in handy! It is still there on your home page after the auction has closed.
Mpuma Stamps 10 Posted June 23, 2010 Yes I've learnt to use the watchlist for this but I often make bids without putting the items on the watchlist. I like to use the watchlist for items I still consider to make bids on.

Guest MacMuffin Posted June 24, 2010 I second, third and fourth this "feature" request. tsk tsk.... it has been there for a while (although no direct link) Items you have lost We will add a link on the My bidorbuy->Buying page (under item-tracking) - note this is only for auctions over the last 7 days - anything else will not be displayed. BumbleBee 10 Posted June 24, 2010 I think I'm just a bit dof, I still can't find it without using MacMuffin's link
Guest MacMuffin Posted June 24, 2010 I think I'm just a bit dof, I still can't find it without using MacMuffin's link It is under "My bidorbuy" -> "Buying" and under "Item tracking" there is a link to "Live auctions you've lost" BTW: I did hear that in some rare cases (seems to have only affected Safari users) a clearing/emptying of the cache was necessary for the "Lost items" to work... We also increased the time-frame for lost-items to 21 days.

Mpuma Stamps 10 Posted June 30, 2010 Just wanted to say thanks for this feature, great work!
lilythepink 11 Posted June 30, 2010 I don't really need this feature but I can imagine it is a help to others. How long does the "lost auction" stay there?
RISadler 10 Posted July 1, 2010 Thanks, Mac! Now to also be able to search closed auctions of the past few years would be something... hint, hint.
